Pliko Terms of Service

Welcome to Emmple Pliko. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our mobile application, website, and related services for participating in online contests, Olympiads, and other skill-based competitions. Emmple and Emmple Pliko are service brands operated by Wisflux Private Limited. By creating an account or participating in any Contest, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Emmple Pliko provides skill-based contests and related learning/content on a best-effort basis. We may create or assist with content using AI systems and subject-matter experts. Content and scoring may contain errors; we may correct content, re-score, or adjust results where appropriate. We do not guarantee accuracy, availability, timeliness, or error-free operation.

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to create an account; users under 18 may participate with verifiable parent/guardian consent and supervision or through a School that has obtained such consent. Each Contest may have additional eligibility requirements (e.g., age, geography, or institutional affiliation) specified in its Contest Rules. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and all activity under your account, providing accurate information, and promptly notifying us of any unauthorized use; for school-managed accounts, the School is responsible for account issuance, permissions, and compliance.

Each Contest is governed by specific Contest Rules detailing eligibility, entry period, participation guidelines, judging criteria, and prizes; those rules are incorporated by reference, and if there is a conflict, the Contest Rules govern for that Contest. Fair play is required—cheating, bot use, manipulating entries, creating multiple accounts for advantage, or collusion is prohibited; we may use automated or manual proctoring and anti-cheat measures consistent with law. We may disqualify participants who tamper with the entry process, violate rules, or act unsportsmanlike or disruptively, and such decisions are final. If we detect errors or ambiguities, we may issue errata, replace items, re-score, normalize, or void/redo a round; judging and rejudging decisions are final. Contests are intended to be skill-based and are void where prohibited.

Some Contests require a one-time entry fee or a recurring subscription. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each term, and you authorize us to charge your payment method unless you cancel at least 48 hours before renewal; you can cancel anytime in account settings, with access continuing through the current paid term. All payments for entry fees and subscriptions are final and non-refundable; no refunds or credits are provided for partial periods or unused services. If purchased via the Apple App Store or Google Play, billing, renewal, and cancellation follow the applicable store policies.

You retain ownership of your original content submitted as part of a Contest (e.g., text, images, code, or other materials). By submitting, you grant Wisflux a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, and prepare derivative works of your Submission to operate the Service, run the Contest, and for promotional/marketing purposes in any media; we may edit for length/clarity and credit you where practical. You represent and warrant that your Submission is original and does not infringe any third-party rights; you are solely responsible for your Submissions.

Winners are selected based on criteria in the Contest Rules, and all decisions by Wisflux or designated judges are final. Potential winners will be notified via the email address or phone number on their account and may forfeit if they fail to respond in time. Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable; we may substitute with an equivalent value, and winners are responsible for taxes, duties, or other charges. Prizes may require tax reporting/withholding and KYC verification; for minors, prize disbursement may require parent/guardian details. By accepting a prize, you grant us publicity rights to use your name, likeness, city of residence, and Submission for advertising and promotion without additional compensation where permitted by law.

Except for User Submissions, all content, software, and technology on the Service are the exclusive property of Wisflux and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service solely to participate in Contests as intended by these Terms.

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect (e.g., account info, entries, telemetry), how we use it to operate Contests, and when we share with service providers (e.g., payments, messaging, hosting). For school-organized participation, the School is responsible for obtaining any parental/guardian notices/consents required under its policies and applicable law.

THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTEST CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES—EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY—INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. CONTEST CONTENT AND EXPLANATIONS MAY BE INCOMPLETE OR INACCURATE AND ARE FOR SKILL ASSESSMENT AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY, NOT PROFESSIONAL ADVICE. WE MAY CORRECT CONTENT OR RESULTS AT ANY TIME.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wisflux shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from participation in any Contest or use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for all claims shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total entry or subscription fees you paid to us in the last 12 months, or (b) ₹5,000 (Five Thousand Indian Rupees). These limits apply to the maximum extent permitted by law and do not limit liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wisflux and its employees from any claims, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your Submission infringing the rights of a third party.

We may suspend or terminate your account without notice for any breach of these Terms or the Contest Rules. You may terminate your account at any time by discontinuing use of the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India for resolving any disputes.

We rely on third-party providers for hosting, CDN, email/SMS, payments, proctoring, analytics, and app stores. By using the Service you accept their applicable terms and acknowledge they may change at any time; we are not responsible for third-party terms, performance, or availability.

We may modify these Terms at any time and will provide at least 30 days' notice for material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms, along with any specific Contest Rules and the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Wisflux. If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in full effect.
